March 10, 2013: The Frozen Gopher Challenge was held last month and I’d like to thank everyone who came out for the race. Forty-three racers enjoyed some ideal weather on the race day and skied, skated, and snowshoed along the course. Neal Zaluski came in first place, followed by Jeff Hehn and Sarah Robbins in second, and Ron and Ken Siemens in third.
All in all, everyone seemed to enjoy the race, or at least enough to push me into a snow bank and give me a face wash. I’d also like to give a big thanks to the race sponsors for donating some really nice prizes. So thank you to BikeDoctor, Brainsport, and Eb’s Source for Adventure. I would also like to thank the volunteers who helped out for the race and made the day a lot easier for all of us.
As for upcoming races, more details will be coming out shortly.
Since you at the next race!
